Head of Data Center Technical Development

Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development strategy for our future data center projects in Poland.
  • Define technical requirements and site-selection criteria across hyperscale, AI/HPC, colocation and edge formats.
  • Assess critical infrastructure requirements, including:
  • power availability, capacity headroom and redundancy
  • fiber connectivity and telecom infrastructure
  • cooling technologies and water demand
  • scalability and long-term expansion potential
  • Lead technical due diligence and feasibility analysis of greenfield opportunities.
  • Build internal know-how, technical standards and design playbooks for data center development.
  • Engage with utilities, telecom operators, engineering firms and infrastructure partners.
  • Advise senior management on technical concepts, infrastructure strategy and evolving market standards.
  • Track trends in AI infrastructure, advanced cooling and next-generation data center design.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, engineering, development or technical advisory.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern data center ecosystems end-to-end.
  • Track record in hyperscale, colocation, telecom or broader digital infrastructure projects.
  • Solid grasp of power, cooling, fiber and resiliency requirements for modern facilities — including AI-driven loads.
  • Ability to independently assess the technical feasibility of greenfield development projects.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong stakeholder-management skills.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
