Legal Counsel

Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide legal support in project finance and corporate finance transactions, including joint venture (JV) transactions.
  • Cooperate with external law firms involved in transactions and manage their work.
  • Support the development of new business lines, including energy storage projects, from concept to implementation, including analysis of transaction structures and cooperation models with partners.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review agreements related to the development and operation of renewable energy projects.
  • Support corporate legal matters for R.Power Group companies in Poland and abroad.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

  • Qualified attorney-at-law or advocate.
  • Experience in project finance or corporate finance transactions gained in a law firm or in-house environment.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector or another infrastructure sector.
  • Ability to understand the broader business objectives behind transactions and propose legal solutions appropriate to project risks and scale.
  • Flexibility and openness to working in areas without established market standards.
  • Ability to independently manage matters and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • English proficiency at C1 level, including negotiation of legal documentation.
  • Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize extensive legal documentation, including the use of AI/LLM-based tools while critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
  • Experience in JV and M&A transactions.
  • Experience with project finance structures or financing from international financial institutions.
  • Experience working in international environments or advising foreign entities.
  • Interest in improving legal team processes through new technologies and tools.
