Site Manager
Location: Bucharest
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the full scope of on-site construction activities for PV farm installations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
- Liaise with project managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics.
- Report on progress, deviations, and potential risks, providing mitigation plans where needed.
- Participate in site inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with permits, legal requirements, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in managing construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy or photovoltaic sector.
- Strong knowledge of civil works and electrical installations related to PV systems.
- Solid understanding of Romanian construction regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams.
- Effective communication in English; Romanian language skills are a strong asset.
- Technical education in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites within Romania.
- Valid driving license.
